What is Tenvir?
Tenvir containing the active ingredients tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate is considered a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs) type of medication. The medication works by controlling and preventing the HIV cells from multiplying in the body to help the immune system work well. It should be used in combination with other medications to lower the chance of suffering from HIV complications and slowing the progression of the disease from HIV to AIDS.
