USE :
Meropenem is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. This medication is known as a carbapenem-type antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.

Precautions:
Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: brain disorders (such as seizures, head injury, tumor), kidney disease, stomach/intestinal diseases (such as colitis).
This drug may rarely cause headaches, numb/tingling skin, or seizures. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires alertness or clear vision until you are sure you can perform such activities safely.

Stroge :
Meropenem for Injection USP injection vials reconstituted with 0.9% sodium chloride for infusion may be stored for up to 3 hours at controlled room temperature (15 – 25° C) or for up to 24 hours under refrigerated conditions (2 – 8° C).
